The ODBC API support makes another impact for ITTIA DB developers to share data with embedded systems and devices while also offering reporting capabilities to their end-users.

Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) is an interface for accessing data in a heterogeneous application of relational database management systems. Based on the standard SQL Call Level Interface specification, ODBC provides an open method of accessing data stored in a variety of embedded systems and devices databases.
