Oracle Database 11g places a marker in the record book for a two-tier configuration on SAP BI-D standard application benchmark.

Running on a Fujitsu PRIMERGY RX600 S5 Server, Oracle 11g places a new stake in the sand for performance of BI application workloads. Equipped with an Intel Xeon X7560 2.26 GHZ processor, Oracle Database 11g Release 2 on Linux produced results of 854,649 query navigation steps per hour.
