The information technology world is buzzing about cloud computing, and in my circles specifically, cloud-based data management. The questions I'm asked most frequently (aside from what exactly cloud computing is) are about cloud security.

The information technology world is buzzing about cloud computing, and in my circles specifically, cloud-based data management. The questions I'm asked most frequently (aside from what exactly cloud computing is) are about cloud security. In my presentation at Sys-Con, I outlined four different aspects to cloud security: VPNs, firewalls, encryption, and intelligent data management. In this blog post I will highlight the first few and expand on the last item.
