Database giant Oracle Corp. released a series of widgets — small software applications — meant to collect and display data on a company’s sales.

Popular widgets from businesses like Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) display data on weather or traffic in an easy format for users to see on their desktops or mobile devices.

Oracle’s slew of widgets, called “CRM Gadgets for Sales,” is meant to do the same with sales data.
