More than three years after it was announced, Oracle's Fusion strategy is still causing confusion among users unsure about exactly what the strategy delivers, analysts say.

More than three years after it was announced, Oracle's Fusion strategy is still causing confusion among users unsure about exactly what the strategy delivers, analysts say.

Fusion was initially designed as a new software platform that would bring together the best of the company's many acquisitions. Fusion was to provide security for users who had invested in PeopleSoft, Siebel, JD Edwards or Oracle applications.
