Oracle 10gR2 makes the FLASHBACK TABLE command easier to use with the addition of named restore points.

Oracle 9i introduced a flashback query feature that displays query results as of a prior point in time. However, the table itself was not modified. Oracle 10g extended the flashback feature to flash back a table permanently. Now Oracle 10g Release 2 makes this process easier with the addition of named restore points.
