Oracle partners to offer improved vehicle telematics

At the CeBIT show in Hanover, New Zealand-based Prolificx said the pair were combining the Prolificx Vector series hardware with Oracle's Microedge Server, Oracle Database Lite, Oracle Database 10g and Oracle Fusion Middleware.

At the CeBIT show in Hanover, New Zealand-based Prolificx said the pair were combining the Prolificx Vector series hardware with Oracle’s Microedge Server, Oracle Database Lite, Oracle Database 10g and Oracle Fusion Middleware.

By using proven mobile technology, such as personal digital assistants (PDAs), the new Vector 300FM platform is an automotive embedded product which has been integrated with Oracle's telematics framework.
