For the last few months, the staff at Jupitermedia.com has been developing a database-focused Web site that will embrace the entire database sector. As part of the launch, we are consolidating the existing sites, SQLWire, SQLcourse and the SQL section of Swynk.com, into the new site. But that's just the beginning...

Welcome to DatabaseJournal.com! Over the last few months our staff at Jupitermedia.com has been developing a database-focused Web site that will embrace the entire database sector, with in-depth coverage of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, IBM DB2, Sybase, MySQL, and more.

DatabaseJournal.com will continue to offer the same great content you've come to find on SQLWire, SQLcourse and in Swynk.com's SQL section, as well as an extensive collection of new tutorials, database news, FAQs, scripts, and tips.

Plus we are launching new forums where developers and administrators can compare notes, ask questions and share experiences.

In coming months, you'll see new sections launched, covering the most important database technologies. Over time, we expect to change as the technologies improve, with the goal of delivering the most valuable database development content available anywhere.

We're really excited about the launch, and hope you will be as well. Take a look at the new site and let us know what you think.
